Graceful and grateful..

I previously wrote  enthusiastically about pleats here. And I still stand by how  wonderful pleats are, feminine and a style changer from the regular midi skirts and pencil skirts.  In enters this gorgeous silver pleated maxi and I am totally sold on the trend.  Good news is accordion folds are no longer just for preppy school girls skirts, I  mean with vast options from  skinny knife pleats to wide paneled pleats,  and a whole selection of colors from bold to subtle tones and patterns or prints, and not forgetting  a choice of either midi, maxi or mini hemlines , this style is really for everyone.

Another thing to love about this piece is the numerous ways to style it. with the options of dressing it down for a day look with a simple tee and a moto jacket or a denim jacket with sneakers or ballet flats or transitioning it to an office look by adding a blazer and heels or a date night look with a fancy lace top and heels and so many more.

I intend to play around with this piece and see what various ways i can come up with to style it in a series of posts ( it won’t be boring, I promise). Here is one.

I styled my key piece with a chic lace crop top and accessorized with a silver clutch and necklace. I love the shoes as well they complement the whole outfit. Have a look,
