It is said that fear has no place in the pursuit of ones passion, enters the fearless and ever smiling Mercy Munanie, the head and founder of Ania creations, a fashion company based in Machakos Kenya, specializing in women’s apparel ( clothes and accessories, ) Her dream and drive you ask? To be a trend setter in all things fashion from East Africa to the world. Don’t you just love passionate people? My story with Mercy was love at first sight. What struck me most was despite the distance from Machakos to Nairobi, on regular basis for fittings, measurements taking, fabric hunting, her eagerness to create unique and chic outfits that showed off her skills was well-defined from the word go. Two outfits later and she nailed it. She aimed for unique fabrics and simple yet chic designs and the results were nothing short of breathtaking. Have a look.
