Midi skirts are a staple piece for day and night.They should be flattering on everyone since they tend to have a nipped-in waist and body accentuating shape however styling details for this piece are very important as they can make the outfit fun or dowdy.

Choosing unexpected colours and hues to complement your black or grey midis instantly adds colour and if topped off with patterns makes this silhouette very stylish and chic…This i beleive is a statement making choice.

The right shoes for this look are essential considering the length of the midi skirt..spotting  heels with interesting details is recommended..Heels as opposed to flats continues the long lean line of the skirt.Always remember the right shoes are key.

The slit(my favourite) is not that common in midi skirts,but pushing the limits is equally fun.A thigh high slit lends a sexy vibe to the outfit.

The accessories are as equally important in achieving a stylish look…Get playful on this part but keep it simple as well.As always less is always more..
