Drama on my sleeves…

Hello my lovelies. My hope you all are well and rocking your statement pieces as I did on this post. Do I let my sleeves do the talking?  Absolutely yes. Bell-sleeve tops are trending right now as opposed to being reserved to bohemian  styles. They can be termed as sleeves with a lot of flair that guarantee to take your outfit up a notch and not to mention serving as a statement focal point for any outfit.

Apart from fun and the dramatic effect of the bell-sleeve top, it is also interesting to note that bell-sleeve tops have a slimming effect too. What makes bell-sleeve tops so slimming is the voluminous fabric at the wrists, which balances out the arms and makes them look slimmer in comparison. Not only that, they instantly make any outfit that they’re a part of feel fresh and interesting.

On wearing your bell-sleeve top,  go full-on volume that is adding volume to volume by mixing this chic top with culottes or a ruffled skirt, or balance out the oversize proportions by pairing it with skinny jeans or slim trousers.

I chose to pair my top with this beautiful  cropped boot flare pants from  F&F.  Check it out.1.jpg

How  beautiful is my location?  Trust me you haven’t seen anything yet until you personally pay a visit to Dari restaurant in Karen just next to St. Christopher’s.  They not only boast of vast beautiful lush lawns which host a well spaced out seating setting  for ultimate privacy and dining experience, but also a taste of serenity teased by the availability of gazelles , impalas, diks_diks, bush babies and also a variety of birds like peacocks and sunbirds just to name  few roaming freely in the beautiful coffee garden and mind you a nature trail for those of us who love to explore and take tranquil walks. Their utmost sensitivity to environmental conservation is something to be admired.

To add to the wonderful ambience is a very keen staff ready to attend to your slightest need from the minute you walk in. I was lucky enough to work with their social media manager Mr.Taylor kimani who was nothing short of warm, hospitable and and extremely friendly.

How about the food you ask?  Let me just say, delish. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. I especially recommend the thai curry chicken, yumm.
